Consultancy: Unlocking Retail Opportunities

In partnership with a CCTV and Technology SME, SIACO conducted a Security Operations Review across a sample of stores for a National Retailer. Our aims were to:

1) reduce harm to store colleagues and prevent violent incidents in-store

2) increase service value, performance and reporting from service providers

3) enable risk-based decision making through an appropriate framework

4) improve technology utilisation and management

We were proud to assist in making 28 strategic recommendations and outline opportunities for repurposing, reallocating or reducing security spend by at least £540k over the next 5 years.

Our joint-recommendations provided opportunities for the Retailer to operate more intelligently, go further in protecting retail profit and unlock opportunities to innovate, access and leverage technology.
