Our YFH team in early 2026 attended hostile awareness training in London delivered by the UK's leading and recognised behaviour expert and government SME (we are not naming for operational security).

Across a number of days, we were briefed on threat behaviours and various detection methods actively being trained to security, policing and military teams in London, across the UK and further afield. Before deploying to crowded and busy London areas. The objective - to see hostile behaviour from the protective security perspective, to enhance our own replication of hostile activity during friendly engagements.

YFH, stands for "Your Friendly Hostile" which is a core component of SIACO and our consultancy offering, delivering all exercising and testing projects.

These friendly hostile and real-world activities, help organisations and their security teams better understand how to protect their site, safeguard their people, develop preparedness and training programs. We ensure you and your security teams can detect real world hostile reconnaissance and suspicious activity at your site.

The training was fascinating and we will now incorporate our learnings and takeaways to greater improve our friendly hostile services moving forward.
